Ty and I met at Blaze Pizza on a perfectly warm, sunny Saturday afternoon. I longed for my favorite pizza and was planning to go on Friday night but got sidetracked with a friend. Before I knew it, it was too late in the evening to eat. On Saturday, I had planned to go to Blaze for lunch but got distracted cleaning my house. I was adamant about getting a pizza Saturday afternoon before sitting down to my studies. Around 4:30, I entered the pizza shop and quickly became conscious of myself when I spotted a tall, handsome brother standing at the front, near the checkout. I was in relaxed mode, totally dressed down and not planning to meet anyone. I ordered a Build Your Own. As I proceeded to the front counter to pay for my pizza, referring to Ty, the only other customer in Blaze, the employee asked, “Are you together?” I answered, “Yes and he's paying.” Ty answered, “Yes, and she's paying.” Little did I know, God’s divine plan within those words, “Are you together…” A short time later, I said, “Yes,” again. This time to a lifetime of love, friendship, and fun as husband and wife.
