Laura and Sally met after church one Sunday and then realized they lived 2 houses apart in Norfolk. This led to frequent talks on the porch, reading books together, carpooling, and eventually becoming housemates. They currently live at Massachusetts Ave, the infamous central location for Bible studies, Trinity gatherings, and deep conversations. Laura and Sally are often engrossed in exploring child psychology, family dynamics, homemaking, and good books. Laura is easily one of the best conversationalists, most understanding counselors, and thoughtfully sacrificial friends!

Katie and Sally met after church one Sunday and then realized they lived 2 houses apart in Norfolk. This led to house dinners, campfire bible studies, and eventually becoming housemates. They currently live at Massachusetts Ave, the infamous central location for Bible studies, Trinity gatherings, and deep conversations. Katie and Sally enjoy musing the depths of enneagram, theology, and sustainable living. Katie brings a wealth of knowledge about fashion and cosmetics, culinary technique, and philosophy to house conversations. She cultivates fun diversions among friends, and has a delightfully outgoing demeanor.

Arielle and Sally met in the first weeks of Physical Therapy School at ODU, quickly becoming fast friends and inseparable study partners. They restructured the PT curriculum for their own study purposes and were known for their ridiculously overachieving command of the material. Throughout the strenuous years of PT school, they were blessed with a solid group of girl friends and regular Bible study gatherings. Arielle has a contagious excitement for simple joys and a sweet spirit. She has maintained a commitment to the Lord and is a beautiful example of faith.
Kristen Schmucker

Kristen and Sally have been friends since middle school days where they attended Trinity Christian School. They spent their days climbing trees during lunch, illustrating their history notes with fairytale characters, crafting, creating their own alphabet for passing notes, practicing violin, improvising piano duets, and riding horses. Since then, they have kept in touch through letters and effortlessly pick back up at any point - sitting on the fence watching horses, cantering through the forrest, and day dreaming. Kristen has a quick wit, sharp mind, and impressive array of talents. She follows her free spirit and lives with passion.
Wilson Proulx

Wilson is Sally's younger brother, close friend, polar opposite, and dearly valued confidant. Growing up, they experienced the natural sibling tensions and rivalries that blossomed into a very close special friendship. Although very different in personality, they easily enjoyed a wide range of adventures together, still quickly find themselves in deep conversation, and remain formative in each other's spiritual lives. Wilson is extroverted, perceptive, charming, and spontaneous. On May 12, he married the sweet Rebekah Flamini and together they are pursuing a calling in church ministry.

Gray and Griffin are Sally's youngest (and possibly, favorite) cousins. The boys bring energy, creativity, and delight to family gatherings. They have stolen everyone's hearts!! What a joy to watch them grow and develop unique personalities. We are confident that God has incredible plans for their lives!!

John became part of the family by marrying Ty's amazing friend and sister, Molly. John and Ty have developed a deep camaraderie through a mutual respect of hard work, taking care of family, and being ready to see the humor in everything. Aside from having the corniest sense of humor on the planet, and little filter of when its use is appropriate, John is an amazing role model as one of the hardest working farmers one could be, a loving husband, and a phenomenal father to the cutest flower girl on the planet.

"Frodo" arrived to the Bounty Hunters of Strike Fighter Squadron Two 2 months after Ty. Aside from flying together on deployment, they became friends when both had the opportunity to take a tour of Ephesus and Heiropolus to study Paul's journey while on liberty in Turkey. After deployment, Matt and Ty were paired up for training to become FAC(A)s and succeeded in trying to fly together every chance they could for the next 5 years. If you want the dirt on what Ty has done wrong in an airplane--ask Frodo; he was there too. And since he still flies with Ty by choice, he may well be the bravest man in the world.
Chad Duncan

Chad flies F/A-18Es with Strike Fighter Squadron Two Five, The Fist of the Fleet. Meeting in church, and helping to start a bible study for seekers in Lemoore, California together, Chad and Ty quickly became friends. Initially as a student of Ty's at the fleet replacement squadron, Chad always had a smile on his face and kept flying in the right perspective. Once he joined VFA-25, Chad and Ty became roommates and hosted the guys Bible study during the week while hitting up churches, mountain bike trails, distance runs, and the Cali beach at every available opportunity. A definitive health nut, Chad makes the worst tasting kale and other "superfood" juice and smoothies in California.

"Repo" was one of the experienced WSOs in Strike Fighter Squadron Two when Ty arrived in time for a deployment. He quickly reached out to Ty based on their common faith and worldview. Both flew in the same jet on multiple combat sorties in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. A sounding board for each other after combat operations, Ryan and Ty solved most of the world's problems while smoking Cuban cigars on the fantail of the USS Abraham Lincoln. After VFA-2, Ryan and Ty both instructed together at the fleet replacement squadron where they were also members of the Navy Skeet Team competing in shotgun competitions.
Davis Younts
Officiant
Davis is Ty's older brother by 11 years. As such, he has always been extremely patient to put up with the kid that followed him around wanting to do everything he did. Their friendship has continued to grow, and he has always taken time to support Ty. From being his first basketball coach in HS, having Ty as his best man 14 years ago, administering his commissioning into the Navy, or being there when he received his wings, Davis has fully owned it and been there as a big brother.

"Evy Lu" is Ty's youngest niece and the daughter of John and Molly Temme. If there was a person that captured Ty's heart before he met Sally, it was this beautiful girl. If you can meet Evy Lu and not smile, you might not be human.
