Ty and I met through mutual friends at Spirited in March of 2018. I was working on my Grandpa's t-shirt fundraiser which contained firefighter inspired designs. Ty reached out to me and said he'd like more information about the cause. It was my first year working with Michael J. Fox Foundation and I didn't have much to go on. When I received the packet from MJFF, I reached out to Ty to let him know I would be at the coffee shop if he wanted to meet me. We were there for approximately 3 hours and never looked back. With my Dad and Grandpa also being firemen, approval from my friends and family didn't take long! Our paths crossed exactly when they were supposed to! We've spent the last 8 years growing and continuing to be each other's best friend! Cheers to forever!
