Tyler and Kristen first met in Fall of 2012 while both attending a fall track party at Chico State. Kristen was a new freshman and had gone to one of her brother John's famous Klondike Court parties, while Tyler was a big senior and friends with all of the track teammates living together. After meeting at this party, they became friends and saw each other occasionally throughout college. Through the years afterward, Tyler and Kristen remained friendly and had always bumped into each other at social events, graduation parties, weddings, baby showers, you name it! They loved seeing each other and always had a great time together. Fast forward to Fall of 2022 - a full 10 years after meeting, Kristen and Tyler had seen each other even more frequently and eventually started to communicate to meet up. Kristen was living in Sacramento with her best friends and Tyler was living it up in Castro Valley. Kristen sent Tyler a video of the Ying Yang Twins performing at the half time show of the Sacramento Kings game, & Tyler asked if he could drive up and join her for a game. After a full night of catching up, talking all things sports, re-living the Chico glory days, and flirting their way to the next hangout, it was apparent there was something special in the making. And the rest, as they say, is history! About a year and a half into dating, Tyler and Kristen moved in together and lived alongside Tyler’s brother Matt and sister-in-law Elle on their beautiful property in Briones. They became weekend warriors and loved to travel together and create new memories in new places. Whether it be camping together on a remote island in Washington by seaplane, or exploring through the city streets of Boston, New York City, Rome and Venice, it's safe to say this duo is always on the go! In Spring of 2025, Tyler decided to ask Kristen the most important question of all in their favorite place on earth - Yosemite National Park! Kristen and Tyler are the best duo, and so perfect for each other as they both have the biggest enthusiasm for life, love and laughter. They thrive going on adventures together, trying new things, hiking, biking, exploring, and most of all - spending quality time with friends and family. They are so excited to take the next step together in life and cannot wait to celebrate their love with all of the most important people around them on their special day!
