For those of you who don't know the story, we met on the beaches of Oahu. Our mutual friends (s/o Wyatt, Matt & Hayley) brought us together one night on the beach for a bonfire. Ty asked to go on a walk and said he wasn't looking for anything "serious," since he was heading off to college in 2 short months. After multiple days of relaxing on the beach and getting to know Ty, I made the first move. Once we returned home, the true test was to meet each others families. Ty had it a little harder, trying to the gain the approval of both big brothers. Lori and Bob claimed they knew Ty was "the one" from the first moment they met him at our family barbecue. Ty went off to Sacramento State, while I made the move to Eugene to attend the University of Oregon. Through 4 years of long distance, Ty was the biggest cheerleader, attending multiple football, basketball and volleyball games. After college, we moved into our first apartment in Dublin, CA with little to no money, but very big dreams. After Ty graduated the academy, we moved back to Morgan Hill and brought home our giant fur baby, Dixon. Ty successfully surprised me and proposed in Carmel, while we were celebrating our 7 year anniversary. Fast forward to 2021, we downsized and moved into a trailer, in order to save money to buy a house. We couldn't have made it through these last 9 years without the love and support of you all. We are so excited to close this chapter and can't wait to see what's next!
