Just kidding you goofballs, 2020 brought online dating into the limelight and after talking over Hinge for a month, the two agreed to a first date. A place called Cyclone Anaya's was the spot. It was a sweltering hot day in Texas on August 28th, 2020. Ty forgot what it meant when you ask someone out for a drink and came hungry. After 5 baskets of Chips and Salsa, Blythe had finished 1.5 margaritas (give me one margarita, ima...), but the conversation was flowing. We then continued our date to North Italia, for a nightcap. Little did we know, this would become our favorite restaurant. After countless dates, our love began to blossom. The following year, we decided to move in together. We survived a tornado, 2 freezes, and getting stuck in Vegas over Valentines Day for our very first trip. Funny you ask...hence the reason Ty proposed there. After what was supposed to be a fun 3-day trip turned into 8 days not knowing when we could come home. Blythe showed her cards on that trip, and handled the adversity better than anyone Ty ever met. Safe to say...Ty was hooked.
