Picture it: January 2018. I had just moved back home after an extra year in Hampton, fresh off graduation and fresh out of certainty. My dating life was nonexistent, my plans were unfolding slowly, and—after finally listening to my mom—I started a new job at TD Bank. On the first day of orientation, as the facilitator asked a question, a voice answered from behind me. Deep. Confident. Unmistakable.
