What is Black-Tie?

Answer

We kindly ask our guests to dress in Black Tie Formal attire to help us create an elegant and timeless evening. For Gentlemen: Tuxedo preferred (black or dark navy) - can wear a suit jacket but with a tie! Formal dress shirt Black bow tie Black dress shoes For Ladies: Floor-length evening gowns are encouraged Dressy fabrics such as satin, silk, chiffon, or velvet Elegant heels or formal dress shoes This dress code is more formal than cocktail attire, so please avoid short dresses, casual fabrics, or daytime wear. We can’t wait to celebrate in style with you!

Are kids welcome?

We respectfully request no children attend the ceremony or reception. We hope this gives all parents a chance to relax and enjoy the night with us!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Both! There will be a designated lot right across the street at the Church of Resurrection. Address: 1601 Grand Blvd, Kansas City, MO

Plus ones have been thoughtfully included where possible and will be clearly noted on the invitation and RSVP.

Will there be alcohol served?

Answer

Yes! We will be hosting a full open bar at the reception, including beer, wine, spirits, and two signature cocktails. There will also be champagne served prior to the ceremony!

What time should I arrive?

Please plan to arrive 15–30 minutes prior to the ceremony start time.
