Ty and I met in 2013, when he was stationed at Travis Air Force Base along side my brother. I would come visit and sleep on their couch during Thanksgiving and Spring break, so we had a lot of chances to get to know each other. Little did I know, Ana was playing match maker behind the scenes as we went on "double dates". We both had an interest in aviation, I took flying lessons in High School and Ty had just finished his private pilot's license when we met, so he took me flying over Napa Valley to Petaluma to have brunch. We went golfing, ate many delicious meals together and I'll admit it, I had a crush. Fast forward three years, my brother and Ty were both out of the Air Force, living in different parts of the country. Jake, Ana, and Ty met up while in Tennessee for Christmas which lead to Ty and I reconnecting. He was living in Dallas while I was living in Tucson, so we planned a trip to see each other, meeting halfway in New Mexico. However, Ty had a last minute schedule change at work so I hopped on a plane to Texas. Unbeknownst to me, he had already told his friend that I was "the one". One year later, I quit my job, packed up my life, and moved to Texas. And that, was the beginning and end of everything.
