Our story begins at the end of July 2020. What a time to date, right? We met on Bumble, and quickly agreed that we wanted to meet face to face. However, after some logistical set back from covid, we met for the first time in person on September 12th at an arts and crafts fair in Smithfield. Both of us, incredibly nervous. After walking around for a little bit we both were hungry and ended up going to grab lunch together. We just lost track of time, and ended up staying for close to 2 hours. Neither of us wanted to leave the other ones side, as we both felt we could talk to each other forever about literally anything and everything. Well...its 1000% true.
Our love for each other grew very quickly and beautifully. We did have a little bit of distance between us, but we have made it work. In the fall of 2021, we took a trip to visit Shannon's grandparents in Florida, followed by our first trip together to Walt Disney World. As cool Disney adults, we were excited to just spend time relaxing, exploring, and just having fun. Little did Brittany know, Shannon was beyond nervous for their trip to Epcot. "I knew I wanted to ask Brittany to spend forever with me because of everything she is as a person. Her kind heart, sense of humor, the feeling of home whenever I was with her. I knew deep in my heart, there was no way I could let her go." It was a wonderful Epcot day, we rode our favorite rides, ate delicious food, and walked thousands of steps. Brittany noticed Shannon was acting a little suspicious throughout the day, but didn't know what was going on. Little did Brittany know, Shannon was preparing to ask Brittany if they could continue their Disney adventures, and so many more, forever together. "I had one plan, involving the fireworks, but I got nervous and came up with a new plan. The spur of the moment one came right outside the France pavilion in Epcot. My passport wasn't up to date, and Brittany loves Paris...and Disney. So why not take a chance and do it here? I set up my phone to record on a near-by window, it was beautiful with fairy lights in the trees. I was so scared but tried to remain calm. In my backpack was a book titled "All the things I love about YOU" I had bought it on our recent visit to Mt. Dora, and had filled in some pages with all the things I loved about her. Which then gave to her, as she was reading I got down on one knee and told her how much she meant to me. How she's the first thought I think of, and the last thought I have before I sleep." and... SHE SAID YES!
Now we come to here, our wedding website. Where we hope those of you near and far will come to celebrate our union of love...and show us your sweet dance moves.
