We’re getting married!!

We’re a Tinder success story! Which apparently is extra rare these days but we met before any of the other apps were super popular!

Will and Erica had discussed a proposal and agreed to wait until after Erica had graduated from nursing school. Will had also mentioned that he was thinking either near the Fourth of July or in the fall. So when it came to the fall after graduation and there hadn’t been a proposal yet, Erica was convinced it would happen on a weekend getaway they were taking to Sleepy Hollow! The only problem was her mom had convinced her he hadn’t even picked up the diamond he was going to use yet! The morning they were leaving, Will came into the kitchen (after putting the ring in his pocket) and kissed Erica and she just knew it was happening that day! Unfortunately their afternoon plans got canceled when they had to backtrack home because they forgot to leave the house key to feed their cat. Then the event they were attending, where Will was planning to propose, got canceled due to weather. Will pulled into the closest parking lot he could find, in the pouring rain, and whipped out the ring! It happened to be a Friendly’s, and looking back, this was a proposal completely fitting their relationship and we can’t imagine it any other way! And no, we have no idea if the Friendly’s was open because we were too busy laughing and crying to even get out of the car! We did get out a few miles down the road to take some pictures and call our families!
