Our story starts as non-conventional high school sweethearts….but delayed. Jose and Rachel met at prom when he asked her to dance. From that day on, they continued their friendship with spontaneous hang outs. Whether it was going to bars or random trips to Disney, they always had fun. Jose decided to escape the friend zone by asking her to be his girlfriend. Some of the most memorable moments include a surprise sunset dinner in Puerto Vallarta, going zip lining through the jungles of Mexico and Hawaii and so so many more!

The couples’ love for Disney definitely shows in their engagement. Jose planned a Disney trip during Christmas time for Rachel’s 30th birthday. To start the trip, they decided to take a picture in front of Sleeping Beauty’s Castle. The castle was covered in mountains of snow and glimmering Christmas decorations. During their photo shoot, Rachel turned around to look at the castle. When she turned back around, Jose was down on one knee asking for her hand in marriage. Suddenly, their friends appeared from the crowd with disguises to celebrate the moment. It was a magical day!!
