Yes.
Flights are going to be the biggest expense, but we'll cover the housing. There will be some shared bedrooms (we're all friends, but rooms are yet to be determined). We'll also stock up on food and beverage, but bring some cash for melting gelatos and sizzling brick oven fire pizzas. We are planning activities outside of the rehearsal and wedding, but these activities are yet to be planned and are also completely optional.
Being over a year out, we still don't know what the flight availability looks like. However, we do know that the closest airport is Brindisi, roughly an hour from the venue. We're also looking into booking shuttles or other forms of transport for guests.
We have five days at a 40 person villa. If you've seen Love Island, you'll get it...
Yes! Make sure yours doesn't expire before September 2022.
As of now, travel is unrestricted from the US to Italy. There is no requirement to self-quarantine upon arrival if travelers present proof of vaccination or negative test results, given the test was conducted 48 hours before departure. It is important to note that the Italian government recently published a COVID-19 "Green Pass" in early August, which is required for indoor dining, public events and attractions. Fortunately, a CDC vaccine certification is considered an equivalent to the Green Pass. Alternatively, you can provide a negative COVID-19 test result, given it was taken within 48 hours before entering the public space. You can reference more information in the US embassy link below: https://it.usembassy.gov/covid-19-information/ We'll continue to monitor both international and domestic travel policies as our wedding date approaches. PS Everyone should get vaccinated regardless #hotvaxxedsummer #codyrigsby
We know that there are probably many questions stirring in your mind around transportation, food, and activities during the stay - you're not alone. We promise to communicate our flight information, day-to-day food accommodations, local transport options, and all-around scheduling as soon as we know it for ourselves. For those who RSVP, we'll be sending out direct emails with more information in the coming months.
We'll find out on wedding day.
