Paras and Pooja found each other on Shaadi.com. Paras reached out to Pooja despite her pictures with Seattle Seahawks gear (Paras is a huge San Francisco 49ers fan for those who didn't know). They quickly exchanged phone numbers and ended up talking on the phone for 8 hours straight. They both knew after that first conversation that this was something special and worth pursuing further... and here we are today!

Paras planned a special proposal for Pooja at Golden Gate Park where he would take her on a romantic boat ride around Stow Lake and at the perfect moment, he would pop the question. Pooja already knew that something would occur on this day because it was their 1-year anniversary. When they arrived at the lake and were waiting for the next available boat, Pooja noticed a random man with a camera that kept stalking them. The gentleman proceeded to follow them on foot around the lake as Paras and Pooja rowed their boat. He tried very hard to hide in the bushes while clicking their pictures, but let's just say he was not very discrete. Pooja did not say anything because she did not want to ruin Paras' plan and she could tell he was a bit nervous! After they passed under a bridge and approached a beautiful waterfall, Paras got on one knee and asked the question. And, of course, the answer was yes!
