Matron of Honor
Lolita and I became friends in 2007 while members of SF Renegades Drum Corps color guard. She was so open and honest, I had rarely met anyone like her. I admired her ability to draw people in and together, both then and now. In the following years we have lived together, worked together, confided in each other, fought, cried and laughed. We even auditioned for the Amazing Race together (their loss). I would honestly not be who I am today without her.
Maid of Honor
We met in 2004, in the SF Renegades color guard. She was Captain and I was intimidated by her poise and presence. Soon after, she relocated to Australia and I immediately invited myself to visit her. But it wasn't until her later move to NYC that we became close. Business trips to NY always included dinner with Veronica and we easily bonded over life, love, loss and always laughs. I can't pinpoint exactly when I found a sister in Veronica but I am so grateful I did.
