What's meant to be will always find a way. Julia and Jonathan were born and raised on different sides of the world.. Their love of performing brought them together when they met while working at Universal Studios Singapore. They both remember the first time they saw each other, when Jonathan was performing onstage and Julia was in the audience. Since that moment, their love for each other has been undeniable. They lived apart from each other for almost 8 months in the beginning of their relationship. Since Filipino passport holders are not allowed to enter the US without a special visa, Jonathan unfortunately was not able to come visit Julia or meet the Ripples. No matter the obstacles that they were faced with, Julia and Jonathan never questioned their love or commitment to each other. In 2016, they both moved to Dubai to work together at Motiongate Dubai. In 2017, Julia was able to travel with Jonathan to Quezon City to see where he grew up and spend some time with his family. Then in 2018, Jonathan proposed to Julia in Dubai and then a few months later, his US Visitor's Visa was finally approved. The newly engaged couple could finally travel together to America to visit Julia's hometown and spend more time with her family. Julia and Jonathan's relationship is not exactly conventional, but it is their differences that bring them together and make them love each other even more. Julia will never forget their first date, when Jonathan cooked her Chicken Adobo, a famous Filipino dish. Similarly, Jonathan will never forget their first fall together when Julia cooked him his first Thanksgiving meal. Julia and Jonathan thank God for bringing them together and their incredible families and friends for their constant support. They cannot wait to begin the next chapter of their lives by celebrating their wedding and they would be honoured to have you there.
