Is there a color palette?

Answer

Yes, sorry, unfortunately I am a bridezilla, and I have a vision. So on top of the cocktail attire, please keep it in the fall color palette. Which is different tones of burgundy, orange, brown and darker greens, black is also a suitable color. Patterns are accepted with all colors in the color palette. ABSOLUTELY no one can wear sage green or RED!!!! As a reminder to all Jay is a dress coordinator and works at Macy’s for any help or questions on attire please contact her.

Dresses • Length: Knee-length, midi, or slightly above the knee • Styles: Cocktail dress, sheath, wrap, A-line Alternatives • Dressy jumpsuit • Elegant skirt with a dressy blouse Shoes & Accessories • Shoes: wide heeled Heels (we are having it in the back yard), dressy flats, or elegant sandals • Bag: Clutch or small structured purse • Jewelry: Statement or delicate — either works I will have heel covers if you decide to wear a smaller heel.

What is cocktail attire for men?

Answer

Think: sharp and elegant • Suit: Jewel or mid-tone suit (no blue or grey) • Shirt: Crisp dress shirt (white or light color) • Tie: Usually expected — classic silk or subtle pattern • Shoes: Leather dress shoes (oxfords, derbies, or loafers) • Accessories: Belt, watch, optional pocket square

We respectfully request no children at the reception, allowing all of our guests to enjoy an adults-only evening.
