See What Had Happened Was...

Judith's Side of the Story

To tell a good story, there must be a beginning, middle, and end. To tell an epic story, there must be a beginning, that starts with a wrong turn; a middle, that includes changed plans; and if the story is really something wonderful, maybe it will never end. This is the story of Jameson and Judith. It all started on an average Thursday... Judith was torn between going on a mediocre, second Tinder date (with a guy who's name she can not remember,) or coming up with an excuse in order to get out of it. Thankfully, our nameless fellow also thought Judith wasn't all that great either, because he had been planning on cancelling the date also. Now what was Judith to do? Enter accidental match-maker, Angel Long; "Want to come to dinner with me, momma, and Summer? You can finally meet Jamie, before he goes out of town again." Well, this was no longer an average Thursday at all. Judith had heard many, m a n y , stories about ol' Jameson, over the course of a year and a half. Most of his stories made her feel much better about her life actually, so how could she pass up this chance to meet the infamous Jamie Obriant? "I'll see you guys tonight at 6," were a few of the last words Judith said before her life changed forever. It was approximately 6:08 when Judith actually arrived. Gravel popping, hands waving, and cursing her GPS for getting her lost on a 4 lane road, (with one turn) she pulled into Clarksville Station, and saw the man who would wind up being the love of her life, for the first time.

The Way I Remember It...

Jameson's Side of the Story

Jameson had been preparing to leave Roxboro, and head back to a job in Ohio, when his sister invited him to dinner on an average Thursday. His choices that night were either, meet up with a woman for the evening, or go to dinner with his family. Those that know Jameson, can probably figure out which one he was leaning towards. However, the tables turned once he received a message stating that Judith would be at dinner. This was the woman that his sister, and niece had gotten close to, (or at least tolerated.) The woman that apparently had a few wild stories of her own. The woman that, (he thought to himself as he saw her pulling into the parking lot on two wheels) he knew, if nothing else, he would get in his bed. Little did he know, that his bed would become THEIR bed. At dinner, the two just so happened to be seated across from each other. He sat there listening to a woman talk about posing naked for a painting, how she didn't want kids, and how badly her heart had been broken recently. Jameson knew that she just hadn't been touched by the right person (him) yet, and he said so. The light hearted conversation carried on between his mother, his sister, her boyfriend, his niece, and Judith, until the checks came. As Judith pulled out her card, Jameson spoke up, "I've got hers." Judith knew there would be no winning with him, ( and truth be told, there hasn't been since.) Now, Jameson had suspected that Judith had been flirting back ever since they had sat down at the table, but what sealed the deal was when he heard her ask, "So, are you coming back to Angel's house too?"
