Groom
(Voice of the Bride) I have to find a way to make this short and not put any of my vows in this. I am sure by now you know this is the Groom-to-be, but he is much more than that to me. He is very strong willed, has a wonderful heart, amazing spirit, God-focused, loving, compassionate...what quality doesn't he have. Let talk about some funny attributes: He's vibrant when he is happy or nervous, he HATES the sound of chewing which is worse when he can hear himself chewing, he LOVES annoying and stupid showes such as Bob's Burgers and 30 Rock! Seriously, who even writes those shows. Nothing gives me greater joy than when I see him smile. I see his eyes light up and lip quiver. He is my everything...and with that I'm gonna end here since I can write a while book on how great Sean is.
Bride
Michelle... For those who would not believe it, Michelle and I could not stand to be around one another when we first met. Little did we know what God had in His plans for us. As we have grown in our love for each other we have found that we both enjoy hiking, travel, photography and many more delights. Our lives have been impacted by sorry, strife and back stabbers, but we have remained faithful and true to one another. Michelle has become a beacon for me in dark times, a compass when I needed guidance, a comedian when I needed to smile, a counselor when I needed to make the smart choice, and a best friend. I want to thank each and every one of you (and I will again) for joining us on our special day. I personally can't wait, we've made a lot of plans to celebrate our unity!
Bridesmaid
Bobbie is my little cousin, but more like a daughter to me. I knew her before she was even born. Being distant has been very difficult to build a relationship until I went to Michigan for our Grandmothers funeral. Bobbie and I were able to build a rock solid relationship and when I told her I was getting married she begged to be in the wedding. she loves horses, horses, and oh ya let me not forget her phone. Oh this child would have a panic attack without her phone. I have not told her yet that she won't have her phone during the ceremony...shhhhhh!
Bridesmaid
Amy is my sister from another mister. We have known each other for more years than I can count. I suppose if we used each others fingers and toes then we could come up with the correct number. On a serious note Amy and I have had our share of Ups and Downs, but I could not imagine getting married to the love of my life without her. On an Un-serious note, she is shorter than me which makes me feel tall😂. I love her laughter, smile, the look she has when she is trying to be serious but you can't help but laugh. I honestly don't know if she possess a serious face...hmmm I should investigate that further.
Groomsman
Ron and I have been friends from awhile now, and met at my work. Ron has a background in Law Enforcement, he also worked with the US Consulate in Munich; is a grandfather and much more! Coming from Arkansas, growing up in Michigan when Ron is around there is never a dull moment.
Groomsman
My brother from another mother! Shannon and I have been bros for over 10 years now. Through it all we have always been thicker than thieves. Shannon is a devoted father of 2 beautiful young ladies who are the apple of his eye. We have had each other's back in the best of times and worst, and I would be amiss if Shannon was not with me for this tremendous life event.
Best Man
Well... Chris is here because I lost a bet, lol. No, Chris was my first backup partner at work and also helped with my training. As officers we have gotten into a few scrapes together, but it is all good laughs now. Chris is a father to 2 growing young men and also currently works in real estate! Along with being a wanna be Hugh Hefner, Chris is looking into owning his first boat/yacht.
Bridesmaid
This girl certainly has been so amazing. We first met at Princess Cruises where we worked and from there our friendship just soared from there. Monique has always been there through thick and thin. Regardless of decisions I made, whether good or bad she was always there to back me up. We lost touch for a while and then BAM! We reconnected and I couldn't be more happier to have her by my side. Love this Rockstar!
Matron of Honor
I have known Kay-Lynn for many years. Though we were not the 2 ladies who ran around acting crazy, we were the ones that showed respect to each other. As years grew on we didn't talk as much. One day something sparked and we reconnected and have grown very close. Throughout life’s journey you find someone that meets you where you are, shows you grace when you need it, and becomes your wife when you are about to get a husband! Kay-Lynn is that for me. Yup she is my wifey and I know at any point and time we can ALWAYS have a Crumbl date! Move on over Robert she is mine!! I had originally asked Kay-Lynn to be my bridesmaid and later upgraded her to Matron of Honor. This was hilarious actually…when I called she thought I was kicking her out of my wedding. This woman was about to turn all kinds of sideways😂😂😂. She has shown the ability to manage tasks and helped me through wedding planning before even being a part of. Aside from that she has always told me she is just a phone call away, and this has been so true.
Bridesmaid
Christina and I have known each other for over 10 years. We have been through thick and thin together, faced the biggest life had to throw our way, and had many celebrations that kept us close at heart. Even at our worst Christina and I have always maintained our relationship and now it truly is a great honor to have her witness me get married to my best friend and soul mate.
Groomsman
Justin is the guy you call in a pinch and he comes racing up in his lifted Ford truck to come and help! No, I have yet to make that call, but I know once it is made, he will come through. Justin and I met at the hospital, but quickly became good friends and brothers in arms. I know he is a strong family man, and he very committed to his work. Altogether, I am excited and honored to have him with the wedding party.
Groomsman
Most are honored to be a part of their children's lives, I am also honored to have him be a part of my wedding party. Adrien adopted me as his father back when he was only 4 years old. I still remember the day I gave him the choice of what to call me, and without hesitation and in a moment he called me Dad and never stopped. I've always been proud of him, and he continues to amaze me. Currently we are working on learning how to drive, so continue to send us prayers, Lol.
Mother of the Groom
What can I say about my mother... several things, all of which would end up sounding the same, she's great. My mother took me in while I was just a bundle still, being on 16-months old. I was the little living doll for the 3 sisters that also took me in. My mother has raised me to be understanding, compassionate and caring for those close to me. If you get the chance, make sure you say hello, she will be the one with the huge smile on her face.
Father of the Groom
My father, Ron, not to be confused with the groomsman Ron, has been a guiding light in my life since I can remember. He's been there to shape and mold, at times dicipline, but for the most part showing me how a man is supposed to raise and family and protect his Lady. I have overheard Michelle thank my dad and mom multiple times for raising the man that she's excited to marry, even while still trying to constatnly improve to become better. When you see this young man, please shake his hand and let him know what a great rolemodel his has been.
Bridesmaid
Christina and I started out by being met through a mutual friend who is actually our officiant. Through the time I’ve known her I have watched her and her Husband Kody blossom into a beautiful couple. Christina has a wonderful personality, is beautiful, smart, funny, and I could not be happier to have her stand beside me on the day I marry my best friend. Christina is vegan except when you show her a Crumbl cookie or fried chicken. That of course is the exception!😂
Bridesmaid
I met Jiselle when Sean and I went to Cancun for our friend Jessica’s vow renewal. We originally met Jessica and Alex in the Dominican Republic so when we went to Cancun I didn’t anticipate on making even more friends. Jiselle is so sweet and we simple have much in common. We did excursions together and enjoyed time as Sean and Victor was developing their little bromance. Honestly I don’t know who is marrying who at this point😂. Jiselle is a mental Health therapist, which is the career I’m working towards so it’s nice I can talk to her and we speak the same language. I’m so happy to have a friendship with her.
Officiant
Oh my goodness what do we say or don’t say about Dan. So the story begins that Dan was just your ordinary officer at Providence when all of a sudden a Scottishman approached him in a skirt and asked how he would like to work for his wife (Diane Eakin) everyday for free and in return he could also wear a skirt and sometimes ride a tricycle around the block. Dan jumped up and down for joy and said some not so nice words to Providence and rode off in the sunset wearing nothing but his KILT and riding his Trike! Dan and Diane has shown Sean and I nothing but extreme gratitude and grace. I have never met two people in my life that have it all put together. They have a very loving and welcoming family so it was an honor to ask Dan to marry us into a union as we become husband and wife. They have been married for too many years to count and yes Diane keeps him in line! He can joke with each other when at the end of the day Dan can be serious unless you cross him and all bets are off. At least I can count on meeting at the Burlington Costco when the Zombie apocalypse happens and be protected😂.
Groomsman
Many words describe Victor but the one thing the comes to mind is “flower man” and him dancing down the aisle throwing flowers provocatively in the air. When I first met Vic we were attending a wedding in Cancun when we had the privilege of meeting this fine Puerto Rican fellow and his lovely wife Jiselle. We rode jet skis together, though he couldn’t keep up with the King but hey every can’t be as grand as I; we swam in what seemed at the time a cave that went on forever. Ya neither one of us knows how to swim but luckily the ladies do. Then for the grand finale we rode ATV where Sir Victor had my back and caught Michelle’s phone AND sunglasses not once but twice. We were on two different ATV’s when Michelle’s phone went flying in the air and landed in the mud puddle. Victor with all of his bravery stopped and reached in the water and saved the day! It is a true honor to have Victor come all the way from Chicago to join us on our special day. We just won’t fault Vic for being a Chicago Bears fan while Michelle is a Packers fan. This might cause some severe rivalry.
