Parking at the Wedding Venue

If you would like to (or need to) park at Kopachuck State Park, please know that you will have to purchase a parking pass. All Washington State Parks require a Discover Pass to park your vehicle within the park boundary. You can purchase the pass ahead of time online, or day of at Kopachuck. One day passes are $11.50, annual passes are $50. If you do not want to purchase a pass, and if you are comfortable walking, you can park at Voyager Elementary school, and walk to the venue. The walk is approximately 0.4-0.5 miles (~11-15 minutes) and is slightly downhill going to the venue, and uphill on the return to your vehicle.

Air travel

Seattle-Tacoma (Sea-Tac) International Airport is the closest airport to the venue (36 miles; 40 min to 1h40min depending on traffic). Everett Paine Field Airport is another option, but will add a minimum of an hour to your driving travel time.

A rental car may be recommended to get to/from Kopachuck State Park depending on where you are staying and if you'd like to explore the Seattle area the weekend of the event.

If you’d prefer to stay in Tacoma or Seattle, both are great options! Gig Harbor is conveniently located near both—just 14 miles from Tacoma and about 44 miles from Seattle.
