We’re getting married!

Karson and I’s story begins when we were around 7 years old. We both attended church at Bethel Church Choctaw where I developed a huge crush on him. However, about a year or so later, his mom decided to attend a different church, and I couldn’t see him anymore. So fast forwarding 8 years down the road, to February of our Junior year of high school, I received a notification about my Facebook friend, Karson Key, joining Instagram. The next day I received a message on Instagram from someone asking me to go to the movies. And guess who!! It was Karson! But since I wasn’t allowed to date at that time, I knew quite well what my dad’s answer was more than likely going to be. So as an alternative, I asked him if he would like to go to Winter Jam with me and the rest of my church’s youth group. The day after Winter Jam on Sunday, March 8th, Karson and his mom, Tammy, came to church with me and everything just kind of fell into place. Karson never officially asked me out but I suppose we both just knew. Spending time together seemed to be so natural for the both of us, and as time went on our feelings grew. It didn’t take much for it to feel like he was already a part of the family. My parents love him and he’s like the brother my sisters never had! I can’t thank God enough for blessing me with this amazing man! Later, on our four year anniversary, Karson proposed to me at the lighthouse by Lake Hefner after a delicious meal at the Red Rock Canyon Grill! We are so excited to start our new life together as husband and wife, and can't wait to see what our journey with each other will hold!
