Our Story
Marci and Wade met the old fashioned way…. online. After swiping right, they connected and decided to go see John Wick 4 a week later. Wade drove 2 hours and showed up with a dozen roses, making a great first impression on Marci. A simple movie date turned into a long night of conversation and laughs over pie. They both left the date feeling like this was the start of something special. Shoutout to Keanu Reeves :)
Who made the first move?
Wade asked Marci to be his birthday gift by joining him to go see John Wick.
What’s your most memorable date?
Dinner date at La Lucha in the Heights. We finished the night at a tiki bar called Lei Low.
What is your favorite activity together?
We like to try new restaurants and cuisines.
What is the best meal that we have eaten together?
The chorizo stuffed dates and focaccia bread at Avec Chicago.
What is the most memorable trip you have taken together?
Our first major trip together, we flew out to Chicago and spent a week in the Windy City.
