We're getting married!

Riley and Koda’s love story begins all the way back in 2015, during their junior year of high school. Both were overachievers in leadership at their respective schools—Koda at Spring Creek and Riley at Fernley. When Koda was put in charge of making the Fernley High poster for a wrestling tournament Riley would be attending, she did what any bold, slightly chaotic teenager would do: she slid into his Twitter DMs to show off her work. When Riley showed up for the tournament, Koda spent the entire weekend avoiding him like the plague—because nothing says "flirt" like creating art and then ghosting someone IRL out of sheer embarrassment. Even with that bumpy start, they kept in touch on Twitter—bonding over speeches for graduation (Koda claims she was funnier and gave better feedback), random jokes, and the occasional flirty DM. Riley stayed smitten and consistent. Over the years, their friendship grew stronger—until Koda finally realized, after only five years, that Riley didn’t just like her… he like liked her. They made it official in March 2020 during an impulsive spring break trip to Portland, proving that love can bloom anywhere—even in an overpriced hipster brewery. Three months later, they welcomed their first child into their lives: a dog named Huckleberry (who instantly became the favorite of the household). Since then, Riley and Koda have spent their time traveling, hunting, collecting degrees and certifications just to impress their dog, and—most recently—building their dream home in Fernley, NV. And now? They're getting married. Finally.
