Are kids invited?

Answer

We love your kids, but we don't want them at our wedding. With the exception of some immediate family, kids will not be permitted at our Wedding events. If your kids are traveling with you, please let us know if you need support in coordinating local child care.

What is the dress code for the wedding?

Answer

Black tie optional - meaning formal attire Men: a tuxedo is welcome but not required, or a suit and tie Women: floor-length gown, elegant formal midi dress or separates (colors encouraged!) For shoe wear, the ceremony is on grass and cocktail hour on gravel so plan your shoe wear accordingly (block heel suggested)

Where do you recommend staying?

Answer

Varenna, Lecco or Mandello are the best places to stay for the dates of our Wedding events (Oct 1-4), with transportation provided for the day of the Wedding. Hotel and Airbnb options are provided on the 'Travel' page. Transportation around the lake can be challenging. Ubers and Lyfts are nonexistent. For this reason, we highly recommend staying within our recommended areas to take advantage of transportation to and from the wedding.

Will transportation to the wedding be provided?

Answer

We will provide transportation for guests staying in Varenna, Lecco or Mandello. If you are staying outside of these areas around the lake, you may be responsible for your own transportation to the venue if outside of our transportation range.

How do we get around Lake Como?

Answer

Lake Como is stunning, but can be challenging logistically! To get to lakeside towns from Milan (the closest major city), your best bet is to travel by car or train. When on the lake, the most common mode of transportation is by ferry between towns. For late nights, mind the ferry schedule. There are no Ubers or Lyfts in the area.
