Teide National Park is one of the top places in Tenerife, so I can’t recommend it enough. The park has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2007 and belongs to the Natura 2000 Network, which recognizes the most valuable natural areas in the EU. The park’s crown jewel is Mount Teide, a stunning volcano, and the highest peak in the Canaries and all of Spain. At nearly 12,190 feet, it’s a breathtaking thing to see in Tenerife, both from afar and close up.
