Please arrive 30 - 45 minutes prior to the start of the ceremony, which begins promptly at 2:30p.
The dress code for our wedding is formal, black tie optional. Black-tie optional means that guests have the option of wearing their most formal attire (think: an evening gown or tuxedo) but can also choose to wear a formal suit or cocktail dress instead.
If there is no chance of rain, the ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outdoors in the garden. The reception will be held indoors. We recommended women wear block heels or flat shoes, in the event the ceremony and cocktail hour are outside.
Only those who are listed on your invitation can join the festivities.
2:30p: Ceremony 3:00 - 5:00p: Cocktail Hour 5:15 - 8:15p: Wedding Breakfast 8:15 - 9:15p: Tea and Coffee 9:15p - 1:30a: Fun and Dancing
English weather can be unpredictable. However, the weather in September should be beautiful. We recommended packing a rain jacket, hiking shoes/sneakers you don't mind getting dirty and clothes that can easily be layered. While the temperature may not be low, it will likely be damp, which will make it feel cooler.
