Question

Are you requiring all guests be vaccinated against COVID-19?

Answer

We love and care for you all so much and we are doing everything we can to assure our wedding is as safe as can be. We will be asking for proof of vaccination or a negative PCR test prior to attending/at the door. Thank you for taking these additional steps to protect the health of our loved ones, we know it comes at additional inconvenience and we are deeply grateful. We understand that everyone’s comfort level with large gatherings will vary so if you don’t feel comfortable attending and would like to change your RSVP we completely understand. Kindly let us know by 5/20/2022.

Question

I am not vaccinated, what would you like me/us to do?

Answer

We ask that any guest who is not yet fully vaccinated make every effort to keep yourself and our other guests safe by following CDC guidelines regarding COVID-19. This includes following recommended quarantine guidelines prior to attending a group gathering. If you are unable to quarantine or are flying or traveling, we request that you obtain a COVID test 1–3 days prior to the celebration to ensure you are negative for the virus. We will be asking for proof of vaccination or a negative PCR test prior to attending/at the door. You will need to get this PCR test once you have arrived in Colorado Springs. Thank you for taking these additional steps to protect the health of our loved ones, we know it comes at additional inconvenience and we are deeply grateful.

Question

I'm double/triple vaxxed, do I need to take a PCR test?

Answer

No, we will not be asking for that. Alongside the safety measures both we and our venue have put in place, we recommend that all guests, including those who are double/triple vaccinated, take a PCR test for the safety of all our guests. However, we will only be asking you for your proof of vaccine. Thank you for helping us to have the safest celebration we can.

Question

Where can I get a COVID PCR test?

Answer

There are a number of free COVID testing sites across the state, including in and near Colorado Springs: https://covid19.colorado.gov/testing Please look at the turn around time for each location and make sure you arrive early enough to take the test and receive the results before the ceremony at Shove Chapel on 5/28/2022. There are also several locations that provide COVID PCR tests by appointment and for a small fee. These locations tend to have a faster turn around time for those who will not be arriving early enough to get their test results from a free COVID test location.

Question

Will you require guests to wear masks?

Answer

Currently Colorado does not have a mandate requiring masks in indoors and crowded outdoor places. That being said, the pandemic is ongoing and we want to encourage folks to wear masks if they will feel more comfortable with one on. We want to make sure our compromised guests also feel comfortable at the event.

Question

Where should we park on Friday?

Answer

On Friday evening we encourage all guests who will be drinking to consider a ride share or cab option. TAXI COMPANIES: Yellow Cab - (719) 777-7777 Springs Cab - (719) 444-8686 Pikes Peak Cab - (719) 888-9000 TAXI ALTERNATIVES: Uber Lyft ZTrip If you plan on driving, you can park along the street or at Cheyenne Mountain Elementary. Street parking is best along the street near Broadmoor Bluffs Park or Oak Meadows Park. There is also limited parking near the house. Please avoid blocking driveways (approx 5 feet from driveways) as this will result in a citation or towing. The house is close to the areas we've mentioned, but it might involve walking uphill (or downhill) 0.25 miles. If you need assistance getting to the house from your car give us a call at 719-232-8405. We can come pick you up from your parking area.

Question

Where should we park on Saturday?

Answer

Shove Chapel is approximately 1 mile away from Phantom Canyon. If you will be driving (once again, we want to encourage those who will be drinking to consider an alternative or assign a designated sober driver), there are a number of options available to you. At Shove: Shove does not have a designated public parking lot. However, there is limited free parking around the Colorado College campus. Also, for our guests with disabilities, there is handicap parking at the Chapel. At Phantom Canyon: There are large parking lots and street parking available all around the venue. Keep in mind that street parking is limited to 2 hours.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer
