Casa De Amigos
Delicious Mexican food. We would come here on a date frequently. Austin always got the supreme burrito, Shelby would get the tacos and we would share a horchata.
Nudie Pools
These are fun pools to jump in! located just off the second switchback in the canyon. Park and go downhill to here 37.214908 N, -112.957382 W. They're called the nudie pools but we've never seen anyone naked here.
Springdale Candy Company
We went on several sunset drives here. Try his special homemade ice-cream flavor of the week!
Zion Ponderosa Ranch Resort
We worked here together our first summer falling in love. This place means a lot to us.
Observation Point Trail
The best view in Zion canyon. Used to give tours out here all the time. Everyone tries hiking from the valley floor and its sucks. the secret is to start from behind the ponderosa ranch and its only 3 miles to the rim with minimal elevation change. Defiantly worth the hike. start here. 37.296936 N, -112.900509 W
Zion Pizza & Noodle Co
Delicious pastas and pizza. Tried a lot of menu items and it was always delicious. Great beer and wine selection!
Huntress canyoneering
Shelby would tour guests down this canyon almost every day. We know it like Austin knows his way around a Volkswagen
Golfing in Mt Carmel junction.
Drove past this course all the time. Austin always wanted to golf it but never got around to it. Looks like a fun 9 holes. Only a few min from where we're staying and $15 for 9 with a cart. Ask us about the flaming golf cart!
Clear Creek Mountain
We found this sweet jeep trail up the south west face of this mountain. Super tight turns on the cliff side made for white knuckles coming down. There should be a pretty easy dirt road coming up the north east side if you're not in a capable vehicle. top located at 37.293619 N, -112.847856 W
Jolley Gulch
This was one of everyday ATV tour destinations. just a small hike an you'll be standing atop a waterfall and beautiful overlook of the first 160ft rappel. Defiantly worth the small hike to see the view. You'll need a permit and shuttle driver to rappel this canyon, unless you do it in the middle of the night and don't get caught ;) Ask us about old man jolly and what him and his family resorted to after the creek dried up! Shelby bought so many rings here. The lady that owns it is so nice. And we also bought Austins wedding ring here.
Little Hollywood Land: Museum, Trading Post & Chuckwagon Cookout
A cool western movie museum in Kanab. Worth checking out if you head to Kanab.
Moqui Cave
Sweet cave with a small museum inside!
Sand Caves
Some sweet caves up on the canyon wall off the highway. We stayed the night in these once. Careful getting up and down, kinda sketchy.
Rocking V Cafe
We went on a fun date here one night. Most we had spent on a date night dinner up to that point and it was awesome.
Big Al's Burgers at The Junction
9/10 burgers here are so good. We would eat here quite often when we came to kanab.
Willow Canyon Outdoor
Sweet outdoor shop in Kanab, purchased gear and guidebooks here occasionally.
Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park
Some cool sand dunes that we went to once.
