It was 2016, when Zach and Kayla first met. There was an instant attraction. Well.. not exactly. Kayla and Zach met for the first time by Zach flying past her and dumping a bunch of black smoke from his exhaust through her window. Kayla called Mike (Zachs brother) and told him to let Zach know that he is a jerk. After that they seen each other out many more times where they exchanged words and jokes. They became really good friends and after a few months they fell in love and began their journey of completing each other. Prior to meeting Kayla, Zach had never shown any interest in horses. However, he was really impressed when he seen Kayla race a 1000lb horse with so much speed and made it look so easy. She was not only beautiful in his eyes but strong and independent. His goal was to spend as much time with her as he could and learn all the proper terms in barrel racing (to win her over). You could find Zach at the rodeos or barrel races any weekends she had them. She had made a horse lover out of him. Zachs interests before Kayla consisted of all things outdoors. Whether it was 4 wheeling, a SXS or a Buggy, where there was woods or mud you surely could find Zach. Kayla has taken up this hobby as well and finds Zach handsome as ever, even when he’s acting a fool, flooring whatever he is driving around. They do say love is blind! As a young couple they have accomplished amazing things. They purchased their first house together and spent the next several months remodeling it to make the house their home. They did most of the work themselves and its gorgeous. After a long day of work there is nothing better than coming home to each other and being greeted at the front door by their fur babies Stitch and Moose. On January 8, 2022, Zach planned a special proposal scavenger hunt for Kayla. She woke up that morning to a new outfit and her best friend, Taylor at her door. Taylor told her to get dressed and handed her a card. The card said, head out to your favorite place for breakfast. She knew exactly where that was and when she arrived she was met by Vicki and Samantha (Future Aunt and Cousin). They had her breakfast order and coffee ready for her and handed her the next clue. This one sent her to the nail salon to be pampered before the rest of her day. Kayla looked puzzled when she seen Zachs grandpa and Louise walk in. They delivered her the next clue and off she went. This time, she was directed to a floral shop where she received 2 dozen roses and her final clue. The clue led to a park that Zach and Kayla spent a lot of time at. Zach was hidden back in a corner behind some trees awaiting her arrival. He had it all decorated beautifully with rose petals all over the path directing her to where he was waiting. Both their parents got to come and be a part of the proposal along with his brother, Mike (soon to be best man). Zach was so nervous and said it felt like it was taking forever for her to get there. When she rounded the bend all you could see was the tears in her eyes and the grin on his face. He was smiling ear to ear. Zach was down on his knee with ring in hand. (Yes, it is a Beauty) He asked her to spend the rest of her life with him and then all the family tears began! Kayla had said she waited for this moment for a long time and it was worth the wait. Just incase you didn’t know SHE SAID YES! It's now the final countdown. They are getting ready to Say I Do and officially begin the next chapter of their lives as Mr. and Mrs. Hebert. Not only are they beginning their journey as husband and wife they are also adding 2 new titles to their names, Mommy and Daddy. Their first born, Everly Rose Hebert will be making her way into this world in August of 2023. We are so grateful that you all are a part of their journey. #HappilyEverHebert
