Question

When to book your room, if staying at Garnet Hill or Alpine Lodge?

Answer

The last day to book is April 20, 2026 for both locations described in Travel.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Atleast 15 minutes prior.

Where to RSVP for wedding?

Answer

Online, there is a section on our website. Please RSVP for welcome dinner too.

Question

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both! Ceremony and reception is in the same area. The ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors on the lawn overlooking the lake and mountain. Reception dinner will be indoors, in the lodge and we have the pavilion and lawn for dancing.

Will there be a shuttle to and from the venue?

Answer

There will be a shuttle service on Saturday going to and from Alpine Lodge to Garnet Hill. Specific times will be determined soon.

What is the dress code for the wedding?

Answer

Formal/ Semi-formal. We suggest guests wear a suit in any color, no tuxedos, ties optional. Floor to midi length dress or elegant jumpsuit. Encouraging color, patterns and texture. Please do not wear white, dark green, dusty rose or light gray. Other shades of these colors are welcomed!

Will there be a lot of bugs?

Answer

Most likely yes and it depends on the weather and elevation. Please bring bug spray either way. Most abundant are black flies and mosquitoes.

Am I allowed to bring a plus-one?

Answer

Due to limited space at our venue, we are not allowing additional plus ones for everyone. When you rsvp, it will state if you are able to bring a plus-one. Please reach out to us if you have any questions.

Am I allowed to bring my children?

Answer

Due to limited space at our venue, we cannot host any children at our wedding. We appreciate your understanding.

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?

Answer

Please do NOT take photos during the ceremony or use any other electronic devices. We are asking everyone to be unplugged for the half an hour. Your presence means the world to us.
