Florence
Where our love of Tuscany began & keep coming back to! It's like nowhere else we had visited - full of history, amazing culture & art, architecture and most of all a love of food! The atmosphere feels unique - while it's full of tourists it's also a bit like stepping back in time. Our favourite places to visit & eat are all in the above map. To stay, we really like the Santo Spirito area and Santa Croc area (behind the Duomo is very busy!).
Montepulciano
We hope you'll get a chance to pay a visit to the village we get married in! We think the postcard-worthy views of the Val d'Orcia & Vino Nobile di Montepulciano wine are worth the hill!
Pienza
Visit early morning or at sunset to take in the views best views of the Val d'Orcia and avoid the tourists. Also the home of Pecorino cheese!
San Quirico d'Orcia
A slightly more under the radar borgo with great gelato, restaurants and beautiful Tuscan gardens - Horti Leonini.
Montalcino
Another favourite 'borgo' worth visiting while in Val d'Orcia. Famous for Brunello wine so you have your pick of wineries to visit!
Lucca
Cycle the old city walls & check out the famous Lucca Summer Music Festival.
Siena
Fun to see the famous Palio di Siena celebrations which happens before/after 2 July & amazing cathedral.
