Jason and I have been friends since 2005 when we were attending Michigan State University. We knew of each other in high school but weren't official friends until college. One of my best friends, Jenny and one of Jason's best friends, Jimmy have been a couple since high school and have always kept Jason and I in close proximity of each other. Jason and I were most often golf partners in the annual Kerekes Outing and would travel to Schultz family vacations together. Jenny and Jimmy have been promoting the "Jason and Jenna" get together for years but it never "took". Jason also kept running into me at random times...... hockey tournaments for my younger brothers, Starbucks off Telegraph, I96.....totally normal places lol. Not until 2023 did I open my eyes to the possibility of dating a close friend. It didn't take long to realize what an amazing guy Jason is and what a wonderful partner he is. We started our relationship by renovating his condo, Millie moving in before me and deciding that we handle tough tasks well together. Jason was turning 40 in 2023 so we wanted to plan an extra special trip and eventually decided on a European cruise to visit Italy, Greece and France. On this trip Jason proposed in such a special place close to my family heritage in Rome in the Giardino degli Aranci (The Orange Garden). The proposal was magical along with the entire trip. We are so excited to share our special day with you and to combine our two families into one. Thank you for being a part of our story.....the one where Jason got out of the Friend Zone.
