Matron of Honor
If you know Bethany the bride, then you probably know Bethany Snyder. They met in Kindergarten, bonded over the fact that they had the same name, and spent the next ten years being confused for twins. Bethany and Bethany have been with each other through college at Geneseo, graduate school at Potsdam, and starting their teaching career together in Hampton, VA. We are so lucky to have Bethany (and her fancy dance moves) by our side on our wedding day.
Best Man
Anthony met Parker in their second semester as Freshman at Radford University. He has been a part of all the good times since. Anthony likes to think that much like many of his groomsman, “it all started with a beer.” The duo spent some time in college recording (awful but classic) karaoke style music. Parker and Anthony worked tirelessly in the studio through those crazy college years to become famous among approximately six people for their funky fresh tunes. Famous for his drinking shirt and preacher suit, Parker will be the life of the party and undoubtedly give the most interesting speech during the reception.
Bridesmaid
As the youngest, Addie had to endure years of, first, being dressed up like our very own Barbie doll and, later, some friendly sisterly teasing. However, being her big sister has been the best. I’ve gotten to see her grow up and into the amazing young adult she’s become. Over the years, Anthony’s been lucky to get to know Addie well during her yearly visit to stay with them in Virginia. We can’t wait to add another special summer visit to the list when she stands with us on our big day!
Groomsman
Anthony and Zac lived on the same hall as Freshman at Radford University. Their friendship started when Zac passionately (put lightly) argued with Anthony that “Barry Bonds does not belong in the Hall of Fame” (he does, everyone used steroids guys, c’mon). Zac has always been by the groom’s side and Anthony cannot wait until he stands by his side for this special day.
Bridesmaid
Cassie and Bethany have been friends since they met in fourth grade. Ever since, they have been taking on adventures together. Cassie is the type of friend who will make a trip halfway around the world just to celebrate your birthday or have an epic girls holiday in Beijing and London. Traveling to the wedding from London, Cassie will be making a long journey and will be ready to celebrate!
Groomsman
Micah, or Eagle Eye, as his closest friends call him, has been a great friend of Anthony’s since Sophomore year of college. Micah might need some help with his Fantasy Football team but has it all together on the dance floor. Anthony and Bethany look forward to having Micah stand with them on their day.
Bridesmaid
Joyce and Bethany can both tell hundreds of stories about the first few months they knew each other. Although Bethany didn't meet Joyce until her senior year of college, they made that last year count. The friendship would last through the next seven years without seeing each other, but through daily phone calls and weekly Skype sessions. Thousands of text messages later, Anthony bought Bethany a plane ticket to visit Joyce in Las Vegas and they were finally reunited. Bethany and Anthony are so excited to have Joyce back on the east coast to celebrate their special day!
Groomsman
The Big Dawg (no one calls him David) has been Anthony’s sworn body guard since Sophomore year of college. Together, they we’re responsible for 99% of the rap music played as roommates in “The Bar House”. Along with other groomsman and college roommates; Micah, Parker, and Zac, the Big Dawg has always been a great pal. Anthony looks forward to celebrating the day with him.
Bridesmaid
Liz was Bethany’s very first friend when she moved to Virginia. Since then, they’ve taught in the same classroom together, taken a “work trip” to Chicago, and had countless sleepovers. At the wedding, you will be able to find Liz by Bethany’s side, singing and dancing (probably to Call Me Maybe).
Groomsman
Ryan, also known as Kerr, Kerr-mit, Steve Kerr and other variations of “Kerr” to many has been a great friend of Anthony’s since Freshman year. He may have poor judgement in the sports teams he roots for (Mets instead of Yankees) but has always been there for the big events in their friendship. Anthony and Bethany are excited to have Ryan share their day with them.
Bridesmaid
Kara and Bethany met when she started her teaching career in Virginia. Their friendship has been filled with everything from weekends working at Kraft Elementary to Friday nights in with tv, pizza, and wine. Although Kara lives in Florida now, she has been known to make a weekend trip to Nashville to meet up with Bethany and Anthony. We can’t wait to have her back in Virginia to celebrate with us!
Groomsman
Andrew is one of Anthony’s first cousins. He has self proclaimed himself “Little Frieds” and is the second Friedman to attend Radford University. Through this connection, Andrew has become one of Anthony’s closest friends too. Anthony and Bethany cannot wait to have Andrew in on all of the celebrations.
Groomsman
Hawaiian Ryan has been Anthony’s friend since Freshman year of college. He is always the life of the party and knows how to play fantasy football (unlike Micah). Even though Ryan lives all the way in Hawaii, he and Anthony have remained good friends. He flew to San Diego in March of 2018 and is responsible for the wonderful photos taken of Anthony and Bethany’s engagement. We are overjoyed to have Ryan join us for our special day.
