Let's just say we were meant to find each other. Like any other twenty-something year old we were both on Bumble. Brittany swiped left on Jenn twice. Now for those that don't know on the dating apps you swipe left to reject that person and swipe right to try and match with them. Brittany was not a fan of Jenn's profile, she remembers thinking "this chick looks weird as hell." Brittany kept deleting the app because she was bored. Come to find out if you delete the app and not your account it in a sense just refreshes and gives you the same profiles all over again. So here comes Jenn across Brittany's screen for a third time, she figured "what the hell" and swiped right. Whoops they were a match! They met and went to Texas LIVE! for a date. It was when Brittany correctly guessed the outcome of the Indiana and Iowa basketball game. IU would lose by 5 points. BAM! Jenn knew she couldn't let her go, even though her favorite team lost, Brittany hooked her. To this day Jenn still has Brittany guess the outcome of most games and most of the time she makes the correct guess.

Jenn's not the best at surprises, she usually spoils them or just gives the present the second amazon delivers it. However, on November 13, 2021, Jenn pulled off the biggest surprise! She knew Brittany had been wanting to go to the Dallas Arboretum because around the holidays it is suppose to be something special! So she planned for us to go, Brittany got up and didn't have any clue what to wear, it was one of those days that she just did not like her body and felt like you could see her belly in everything (not knowing we were going to be photographed or filmed!) Jenn looked great of course, wearing one of Brittany's favorite outfits on her. We head to the Arboretum, looking back Brittany can say she was acting a little weird the closer we got. Jenn was fidgeting a lot! Once we arrive Jenn goes to the bathroom so she can remove the ring from her shoe, wth Jenn!! Jenn starts taking Brittany one way and Brittany said no lets go try the free samples! Jenn not wanting to give anything away just went with it. We work our way around to "the spot", now this is where Jenn's really acting weird and Brittany starts thinking "is she trying to propose?" Jenn has one guy take our picture but I guess that wasn't the right spot and he keeps asking if she wants video or picture. Jenn just got a new phone so Brittany thought maybe Jenn just had it on the wrong setting and didn't realize it. We go to another spot next to an infinity pool and Jenn has a lady take a picture, again the person was like this is video do you want pictures? and Jenn starts to panic and she is messing with her pants pocket a lot. Next thing Brittany knows she see's one of her best friends appear, Jamie. Brittany thought "ah shit she is proposing haha" turn around and Jenn's on one knee with some speech that Brittany can't even recall because she probably blacked out lol. All Brittany remembers is thinking "put the damn map in your back pocket and take off your sunglasses!" Brittany remembers her saying I love you and putting the ring on her finger. Jamie and her mother drove up from Houston to help capture such a surprising and stunning moment.
