Traveling with Kids!

We know many of our guests will be traveling with children. While our wedding celebration will be adults-only (with the exception of immediate family and children in the wedding party), we absolutely encourage families to bring their kids to Dallas to enjoy the holiday. Our welcome party the night before will be family-friendly, so everyone—kids included—can join us to kick off the celebrations together. Because our New Year’s Eve wedding will continue into a late-night after-party through midnight, we want parents to be able to relax and enjoy the full evening without worrying about logistics. To make this easier, we will be helping coordinate onsite professional childcare, with more details to follow. If there is enough interest, we will arrange group childcare at the venue, and for families who prefer individual in-room care, we are also happy to help coordinate trusted, insured sitters. Please feel free to reach out to us anytime to discuss childcare needs or what might work best for your family.

How far is the wedding venue from the airport?

Without any traffic, the hotel is about 30 min (24 miles) from DFW and 25 min (9 miles) from Love Field.

Is transportation needed?

If you’re staying at the Drey, all wedding events will be walkable, so no transportation is needed.

Can I arrive early or stay longer?

Yes — you can extend your stay before or after the wedding dates based on availability when booking through the room block link.
