We are getting married!

Our first date was quite unusual, we went to a wedding reception together for one of Jesse’s friend's parents! The nerves quickly settled as Jesse drove us to the venue while signing along to every song that came on. A group of Jesse's friends met us there and poked fun at Jesse while asking Elizabeth random questions in between the Boot Scootin' Boogie and Footloose. Little did either of us know we both loved to be on the dance floor! We both knew then that night was one we would never forget!

It was the Monday after opening weekend for gun hunting and we had planned to go out hunting together. As we put our layers on Jesse slipped the ring box into his hunting backpack and we headed to the stand. Jesse tried multiple times to point out deer he saw for Elizabeth to shoot so that he could go through with his plan but Elizabeth couldn't see them from where she was. After a few hours we got out of the stand and Jesse said he wanted to get a pictures, which made Elizabeth very suspicious as Jesse hates pictures but she obliged. We took one picture and Jesse looked at it and asked for another one, so we posed again and all of a sudden Jesse was down on one knee! He said some sweet things and then popped the question, Elizabeth responded with a high-pitched, giddy, "sure!" Which was soon followed by "of course, yes!"
