James and I met at Piedmont Hospital, where we both worked. I used to notice him walk through my unit occasionally, and he always had something dry and funny to say. We admired each other from afar but for our first three years working together, life took us in different directions. In early 2019 James started renovating a town house he had just purchased. I couldn't resist the Chip Gaines vibes he was putting on instagram, and we struck up conversation. Finally James took me on our first date and we kissed in the cul-de-sac at my janky apartment complex. Now he wants to marry me, and I reckon that's the best idea he's ever had. But seriously... Our relationship may have started out ordinary, but from that first date until now, it has become apparent to us over and over again that God has brought us together. His faithfulness has been woven throughout our story, and we believe that He will be the binding tie that anchors us together until death do us part.
