We're getting married!

Can you really meet the love of your life online? Of course, but first, let me rewind. This is MY version of how we met. As I can remember back in 2011, I remember this guy that used to stalk me. Of course, Jared will say that he only knew everything about me because he saw me at a gathering one evening. But if that's the case, how did he know where I worked and the car I drove too??? You see where I'm going, lol. One day, suddenly, as I was being me and minding my own business, as they say now, someone slid in my DM and that someone would be Jared. We chatted back & forth for a few days as Jared was expressing sooooo much interest in getting to know me (more). Fast forward a few weeks later, I eventually invited Jared over for Sunday dinner. I cooked okra stew with oxtails and baked chicken. I did have one of my besties (Donald) come by the house as well for Sunday dinner because I needed that backup just in case Jared wasn't really who he claimed to be lol. When I tell you, Jared cleaned every bit of food off that plate like it was the last supper. I knew I had him!!! 14 years later and he's still here.........

The okra stew was dry....LOL, j/k!!! Eriq and I actually met a few years prior to us dating. We happened to be at a mutual friends' place, I was preparing to leave, when Eriq and his friend arrived. Eriq still had on his Wal-Mart badge and I noticed his license plate read "EyeToy." I thought that was interesting but if he tells the story; I stalked him because I knew where he worked, what kind of car he drove and his "name." Four years later, we met again, of all places, online. Our first official date was at Eriq's place, joined by his friend Donald (I guess he was the chaperone). Eriq cooked his famous okra stew and oxtails and that's what hooked me LOL. It's still my favorite meal when he cooks. Fourteen years later, still going strong through life's ups and downs; having him in my corner means so much to me and I cannot wait to begin this new chapter of our lives. I Love You E!
