Grimes Glen is a small hiking trail that leads to two waterfalls. In order to get to the waterfalls, you may need to risk getting a little wet. It's a gorgeous little place to hike during the summer and fall.
This winery makes one of Katherine's favorite wines (Pink Cat). Their slushies are so good on a hot summer day, this is one of the many vendors who takes part in the yearly Naples Grapefest.
Katherine used to walk/hike this trail with friends and both the pups (Weiland and Stuie) back when she lived in Bloomfield. Michael and Katherine hiked these trails back in March. Conklin Gully is located just outside of Naples New York. The gully is located in the High Tor Wildlife Management area, and is open to the public. This is not as well advertised as Grimes Glen back in Naples, and the stream carries less water, but it is a great place to explore. Like other gullies in the area, you will need to do some climbing if you want to see everything. The mouth of the gully is located on Parish Hill Road (right across the road from the venue), just a short distance from Route 245. There is a signed parking area on 245 just east of Parish Hill Road. The main "trail" is simply the creek bed. You have to be willing to get your feet wet, assuming you are visiting when the water is running.
