WE'RE GETTING MARRIED

Weightlifting is a big part of both mine and Kenny's life which is what would ultimately lead us together. I, Taylor, grew up in Saint Augustine, Florida and graduated from high school in May of 2015. My junior year of high school I received a scholarship offer to attend Northern Michigan University for Olympic Style Weightlifting. I left that August to start my college and weightlifting career. Kenny grew up in Round Rock, Texas and graduated from high school in May of 2015. Kenny didn't go straight to Northern Michigan University for college, he was a big baseball player and was going to play baseball in college. However, his plans changed (for the better lol) and he decided not to play ball. He came up my freshman year of school for a visit and the first thing I ever said to him was "why are you so skinny? I can see your ribs.".... He would inform me that it was actually muscle, then I felt dumb. Little did I know, the following year, he would end up at NMU for the same reason I was... to lift. Kenny and I started to hangout mid-October of 2016. What started as friends quickly turned into late night talks about life and we started to realize how much we had in common. A month later Kenny and I were dating and it turns out we liked each other more than we anticipated, because here we are now.... engaged 3 years later (4 by the time we get married). Kenny and I have been to so many places together and have also grown into adulthood (somewhat). Together we have moved to Colorado. While in Colorado we got our first dog, Augie the GSP. Colorado didn't go as planned so we decided to move back to Michigan to finish our degrees. In the summer of 2019, Kenny and I both completed internships that led to full time job offers upon graduation. Kenny will graduate with a B.S. in Construction Management and I will graduate with a B.S. in Criminal Justice. Kenny and I will be moving back to Dallas, Texas to start our life together after graduating in May of 2020.
