We met at Memorial High School in Eau Claire, Wisconsin during my freshman year and Logan’s sophomore year in 2009. We got to know each other through indoor soccer training and in the halls during passing periods at school. We officially started dating September 11th, 2010. We will have celebrated our 10 years together when we get married this summer!

I was in Eau Claire visiting family four days before I left to spend the summer in Spain when they took me on a walk through Phoenix Park. We turned a corner and there was Logan (who was supposed to be in class in Minneapolis)! Logan asked me to follow him and we walked to a pavilion over looking the river where he knelt down and asked me to marry him. After a happy and tearful “YES,” we met both of our families at a restaurant downtown to celebrate together.
