We highly encourage guests to stay on Fripp Island, as all wedding weekend events will occur at the resort. Fripp is a private island, meaning that only those renting on the island are allowed on. Fripp has smaller condo rentals, as well as large houses for groups who may want to rent together. If you need recommendations, please reach out to us! If you are staying off-island, please let us know so security can have your name for wedding events. Hotels located in Beaufort and Port Royal will be approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour from the island. More information on all accommodations can be found under the "Travel" tab.

No! You can also rent through Airbnb, VRBO, and Fripp Island Stay. Just make sure the rental comes with amenity cards, so you can access everything on Fripp. Our discount code only works for rentals through the resort.
We recommend you stay in Beaufort, as this is the closest town to Fripp! Hotels we love include the Bay Inn Downtown Beaufort, City Loft Hotel, and Beaufort Inn. Beaufort can be up to an hour away from Fripp, so keep this in mind. If you are staying in Beaufort, please let us know so that your name can be given to security. Note that there are no ride shares in the area, so you may want to rent a car if flying in to get around Beaufort and to Fripp for the wedding.
The closest airports are Savannah/Hilton Head International and Charleston International. Under the "Travel" tab, you will find a link to services that go from the airports to Fripp and vice versa. This is a great option if you are staying on Fripp! If you are staying in Beaufort, you may choose to rent a car, as there are no ride shares in the area.
Yes, if possible, we recommend renting a golf cart! If you rent through the resort, one comes free with the discount code. Golf carts are the primary mode of transportation on Fripp and will make navigating the island easier.

Yes, our ceremony and reception will be formal, keeping in mind the coastal weather when choosing fabrics. Please note there are grassy areas when choosing shoes.
