Skyline Drive/ Shenandoah National Park
Hop on the Rockfish Gap entrance and meander along Skyline Drive. Stop and hike if you have time! We have camped at Lewis Mountain and had a blast!
92 Acres Distillery (previously known as Ragged Branch Distillery)
We have gone on many dates here- this is one of our favorite spots!
Nelson 151 Wine and Beer Trail (we recommend starting at Hazy Mountain)
The wine and beer trail is very popular around here! When you go to the first winery/brewery, they usually have a map you can take to see what else is nearby. We have tried many of them, but Hazy Mountain is definitely one of our favorites (Emily's brother and sister-in-law got engaged here!).
Crozet Creamery
When we lived in Crozet, we would often walk here from our house. It's so good!! Check out Smoked which is a great bbq place located a floor below Crozet Creamery and Bar Botanical which is an amazing rooftop bar in the same building!
Downtown Mall
The Downtown Mall is a fun place to walk around- plenty of shops and great restaurants. Emily and Luke have been here many times and Emily can remember coming here with her grandparents as a kid (they lived in Charlottesville).
Monticello
Charlottesville is well known for its history. You may want to check out Monticello while you are here! If you do, nearby Carter Mountain is popular place to visit, known for its live music, beer, and donuts.
