It’s finally happening!

We do things a little bit differently than most...some might say even a little bit backward: we plan the wedding first, then figure out the proposal later 🤣. That’s just who we are as a couple and we wouldn’t have it any other way; it just works. We’ll keep you posted 😉 UPDATE: IT HAPPENED! And it was perfect! While on our trip to NYC, Emmanuel surprised me with a helicopter ride over the city and the Hudson River the night before my birthday. In mid air, he said, “I can see everything so clearly. I couldn’t imagine my life without you, I love you so much.” Then he whipped out the ring (that he kept secret from me in his backpack - that he didn’t let out of his sight the ENTIRE time we were there, to keep the ring safe), and said, “How about we make it official?” I, in my excitement, took the ring out of the box and proceeded to try to put it on myself 🤦🏻‍♀️- but he stopped me and finished putting it on 🤣🤣 Obviously I said YES! (Disclaimer: I could have gotten some of his words wrong, I had to read his lips because our headsets weren’t working correctly - it’s pretty loud in a helicopter, but that was the just of the wording). 😜 After we landed, we boarded a night cruise around the Statue of Liberty and then went to the Justin Timberlake concert! I couldn’t have asked for a better night!
