Reception Cancelled. :(

Sept 19, 2020

Jeff and I took a trip to Atlantic City Aug 1. We met with the coordinator at Laguna on the 2nd and sadly, we decided to cancel our reception. It was not an easy decision to make, but as always, the health and safety of our family and friends has to come first. Laguna was going to provide us with a tent, outdoor bar and servers for dinner (buffets are not allowed). The owner, Rip, was a great guy and we can't say enough good things about the time he took to listen to us and answer our questions. He was willing to bend over backwards to make our day happen. That said, we still made the decision to cancel. The tent would have to be in the sand. No dance floor is allowed. Atlantic City is extremely limited. We found the outdoor bars to be VERY crowded, lines were long and it is difficult to remain socially distant with so many people on the boardwalk. Food can only be consumed outdoors or in your hotel room and restaurants are booked well in advance. For those who gamble, the tables are limited and have many restrictions. You cannot even get a bottle of water on the casino floor. Masks must be worn everywhere but in your room. It was a good trip for us as a couple, but not good for a group of 60 people, like we planned. When we booked our reception weekend, we envisioned an outdoor ceremony, lunch reception and then dancing and gambling and spending time together into the evening. That just isn't possible right now. Stay tuned for a possible plan to celebrate our 1 year anniversary in NASHVILLE! Details to come around January 2021!!!

Our Wedding Day!

June 19, 2020

What was supposed to be a stormy afternoon turned into a beautiful day for a wedding! We were married in front of our closest family members and our best friends. We can't wait to celebrate with everyone in September!

Where it all began.....

We met at a bar/restaurant in Easton, PA in 2013. We dated a few months and broke it off in early 2014, but remained friends. After a difficult start to 2015 that found us leaning on each other for support, we fell in love and began "Round 2: The Final Round" We all moved in together in 2016 and on December 22, 2019, Jeff popped the question on the beach in Atlantic City. We started planning our big day for June 19, 2020 but the Covid19 Pandemic forced us to postpone the reception. "I Do's" on June 19. "Let's Celebrate" on September 19.

For all the days along the way
