What is the best way to get to Nags Head?

Answer

If you're within 6-8 hours from Nags Head, we'd recommend driving. If you chose to fly, the closest airport is Norfolk, VA. From the airport, it is still roughly a 2 hour drive to get to Nags Head. For all the private pilots in the group, the closest airport is Dare County Regional Airport in Manteo. From there, it's about a 15 minute Uber ride onto the island.

When should we plan to arrive?

We'll be in town from Monday October 4th through Monday October 11th. Feel free to come down any time during the week- the earlier the better!

Where should we stay?

Answer

If you're only going to be in town for a night or two, there are several hotels and B&Bs close by (See the Accommodations tab). But, if you're planning to stay longer, you may want to consider renting a house. The rental inventory is extremely limited. Booking asap is highly encouraged!

Is there transportation to and from the venue?

Answer

There will not be transportation provided but Uber and Lyft are readily available. There is also plenty of parking on site at the venue. We are permitted to leave cars overnight at the venue if needed. If you drive to the party but need a ride home, feel free to do so. We want everyone to get home safely.
