Welcome to our adventure!

As some of you well know, we met at work. Dustin worked as a patient care technician at Erlanger's MSICU, and Alex worked as a registered nurse in the Medical ICU there. We did not hit it off right away. It took years for us to grow into mature, responsible adults who were up for the dating challenge. Dustin and Alex both left Erlanger for awhile, and returned to work at the same time. One day, Alex had a particularly difficult assignment, and Dustin (being the modern-day knight he is) offered to take her out for ice cream after work. The rest is not history yet :)

Dustin: A few years ago, I met this really awesome nurse. She was soooo pretty! One day, we had EPIC training class and she let me borrow her pen. To thank her, I asked her to lunch at Good Dogs. We took her car, had a blast, and when we parted ways, I realized I had "forgotten" my badge in the door of her car. That evening, she drove over and brought me FroYo as well as inviting me to donate blood with her. Thus, the connection was born. One of our first dates was to an escape room and I noticed how much Alex liked puzzles. Alex is a dork, but that is a big plus because I am a dork too! In fact, it is one of the things I truly love about her. So one day, I decided to create a special breakout game. This game started with a top hat and a cane, and ended with a teabag and a ring ;) Needless to say, I eventually said yes! Just kidding. We both did.
