LOVE WINS

Of all places to meet on the beautiful campus at the University of Alabama, Alex and Sydney met at the place that causes the most growth, physically and mentally...the weightroom. Little did they know that this place would also help foster the growth of their relationship. When their eyes locked for the first time both of them knew inside that something was different about the other person. Alex and Sydney got "the dirt" on each other through a mutual friend, Johnny Larson, who gets the credit for organizing their introduction and first few hangouts. Since Alex didn't ask Sydney for her number for the first 3 1/2 months of their relationship, Johnny took charge in making sure the two spent a lot of time together and got to really know each other. Alex and Sydney were drawn to each other every time they were around one another and there was no hiding that this was the start of something special. The real test was when Alex was introduced to Sydney's teammates, who are definitely the most interesting (and amazing) group of girls. This group can be borderline brutal when it comes to bringing "that person" around, they are very protective of their sisters and let nothing come in the way of family. Alex took to the girls very well. When the girls found out the Alex was just as weird as Sydney was, the deal was done. This couples's relationship has been tested in more ways than one, and the two seem to grow stronger through every moment. As to great individuals alone, these two are even better together. To see them grow closer and stronger through everything is nothing short of true love. Love wins every time and these two individuals are a beautiful representation of that. As 1 Corinthians 13: 7-10 says "Love knows no limit to its endurance, no end to its trust, no fading of its hope; it can outlast anything. It is, in fact, the one thing that still stands when all else has fallen."
