Our Story
Cody & Michelle went to Punahou together since middle school, but didn't speak their first words to each other until their senior year. When Cody heard that Michelle thought highly of his looks, Cody went all in on the pursuit. The summer after senior year was the beginning of their love story, but they decided (maturely) to put the story on hold as they went off to college. Michelle to the University of San Francisco and Cody to the ever-prestigious Northern Arizona University.
The couple stayed in touch, but finally got to fully restart their love story when Cody moved to San Francisco and ran into Michelle on the most beautiful day in the history of Dolores Park. They enjoyed a few amazing years in SF together (where they adopted their baby boy, Tonic) before moving back home during the pandemic then finally moving to Seattle where their story continues to this day.
Cody proposed to Michelle in Aomori, Japan in April of 2023. Luckily for him, Michelle said yes (in between tears).
