We became friends first, and before we knew it, life --and the Army-- had other plans. Distance became apart of our story. Between training and limited phone calls, we learned how to love each other in the quiet moments: handwritten letters, weekend calls, and counting down the days. Loving someone in the military taught us patience, trust, and the beauty of showing up even when it's hard. We learned that home isn't a place, but a person. We are so grateful to celebrate this next chapter with the people who supported us along the way. Thank you for being part of our journey.
